"Artistic Compassion Project"

Teaching High School Seniors ARTISTIC expression.

Raising Self Esteem
Getting in touch with Spirituality
Finding Resolve through peace not violence
Sculpting individuality through artistry

This project consists of meeting with high school seniors afterschool for one session (or more) a week to either discuss developing issues or to apply the techniques taught in the classroom. The Artistic Compassion Project includes one participation session per three educational classes.
In each class we will learn, discuss and reflect on social issues that affect a teenager's life in the most vulnerable time of their existance.  In the participation session they will either take part in the "Feed the Soul" program or the "Giving Love" project to further understand others as well as themselves.
The classes will touch upon the following points through kinesthetic and energetic exercises:

Applying our artistry & individuality
Reaching Out to others
Taking care of Ourselves
Inspiring through Education
Sculpting Spirituality
Triumphing Over Life's adversities
Raising awareness of mental illness
Yielding to Random Acts of Kindness

Objective:

To help high school seniors raise self esteem, get in touch with their spirituality, find resolve in peace not violence, and sculpt their individuality through artistry.  This project will inspire students to help others in addition to their growth and development as an individual. This program is designed to help guide students through this vulnerable stage of being 14-26 years old in this society. We hope to inspire young minds to be great minds.
